What inspired you to start BOLDER PARIS, and what vision did you have when launching the brand?

Caroline: BOLDER PARIS was founded out of my lifelong passion for fashion and a desire to create a brand that does more than just offer stylish clothing. The vision behind BOLDER PARIS is to inspire courage, confidence, and self-love in everyone who wears our pieces. I wanted to create a platform where individuals can express their personality and identity through their outfits, sending a powerful message to embrace who they truly are.

How does your background in fine arts influence your approach to fashion design?

Caroline: My fine arts background allows me to view each garment as a work of art. This perspective drives me to focus on intricate details, bold colors, and unique patterns, creating pieces that are not only fashionable but also artistic. It enables me to merge creativity with craftsmanship, ensuring each collection reflects a harmonious blend of art and fashion.

BOLDER PARIS promotes values like self-love, confidence, and courage. How do you incorporate these themes into your collections?

Caroline: We incorporate these values into our collections by designing clothes that empower individuals to feel confident and courageous. Our pieces are made to make you feel strong and self-assured, with timeless designs that can be worn day or night. Each collection includes flagship products that embody the essence of BOLDER PARIS, promoting self-expression and individuality.

What challenges have you faced in blending the worlds of art and fashion, and how have you overcome them?

Caroline: Blending art and fashion involves balancing creativity with practicality. One challenge is ensuring that our artistic designs are wearable and accessible. We overcome this by constantly experimenting and refining our ideas, staying true to our artistic vision while making sure our pieces are comfortable and functional for everyday wear.

How does the cultural atmosphere of Paris influence your designs and the identity of BOLDER PARIS?

Caroline: Paris, with its rich cultural heritage and vibrant fashion scene, deeply influences our designs. The city’s mix of classic elegance and modern edge inspires us to create pieces that reflect both timeless beauty and contemporary style. This cultural atmosphere helps define the identity of BOLDER PARIS, making it a brand that embodies the spirit of Parisian chic and bold innovation.

What are some of the key elements that define the aesthetic of BOLDER PARIS?

Caroline: The aesthetic of BOLDER PARIS is defined by a perfect mix of casual and chic, bold colors, intricate details, and timeless designs. We focus on creating pieces that are versatile and can be worn forever, highlighting the essence of Parisian elegance with a contemporary twist. Our flagship products, which continue across collections, are the core of our brand and reflect our commitment to quality and style.

Can you highlight a few standout pieces from your latest collection and the inspiration behind them?

Caroline: Our latest collection features a versatile parka coat, inspired by the success of our best-selling trench coat from our first collection. The original trench coat was loved for its removable bottom part, which allowed it to be worn half open or completely cropped, and its detachable hoodie, offering multiple styling options. Building on this concept, the new parka coat not only maintains the half-open and fully cropped functionality but also includes removable sleeves to transform it into a short jacket. Additionally, it has a removable hoodie and is waterproof, making it perfect for every season. These designs encapsulate the bold spirit of BOLDER PARIS, offering flexibility, style, and functionality for any occasion. These designs were inspired by Alexander McQueen’s iconic leather jacket with zips that could be worn half open.

How do you envision the future of fashion, and where do you see BOLDER PARIS fitting into that landscape?

Caroline: The future of fashion lies in innovation, inclusivity, and personalization. BOLDER PARIS aims to lead this change by creating avant-garde designs that cater to a diverse audience. We envision our brand as a pioneer in redefining fashion as a platform for artistic expression and social change, inspiring others to be bold and authentic. Our focus on versatile, stylish, and functional pieces ensures that we remain at the forefront of the evolving fashion landscape, offering unique and empowering options for our clients.

How do you connect with your audience to create designs that resonate with them?

Caroline: We connect with our audience through social media, interactive events like pop ups, and direct messages. By engaging with our community and listening to their stories, we gain valuable insights into their desires and needs. This connection allows us to create designs that truly resonate with our audience, ensuring our collections are both meaningful and stylish.

Do you have any advice for our readers who are considering starting their career or even their own business in the fashion industry?

Caroline: My advice is to stay true to your vision and be fearless in your pursuits. The fashion industry is challenging, but with passion and perseverance, you can overcome any obstacle. Embrace your unique perspective, learn from every experience, and build a strong network of support.
